What's Hot in CF

Image
Like any other holiday the sentiments of Thanksgiving Day shouldn't be limited to the day we celebrate them (and yes, I include Halloween in this: every day is a good day to dress up like Linda Blair from the Exorcist and take candy from strangers). So this weekend on What' Hot in Central Florida on WME 90.7 FM I'm thankful we have Andrea Canny's CD release party , AND one of my all-time favorites, Michael Wanzie's A Christmas Carol to look forward to AND the Orlando music communiy coming together for Ralphfest 2 , a musical tribute to Orlando musician Ralph Ameduri including nearly 30 bands and DJ's downtown tomorrow night, an event that will raise money for a scholarship in Ralph's honor. It's an event that shows how much we all have to be thankful for to be in a community that comes together like this in the dark times as well as the bright ones. Let's all try for more of the latter - see you all out there!

What's hot in Central Florida is totally random unconnected but super fun events  including the Southern Pinball Festival at the Crowne Plaza Orlando Universal, Toronto roots rockers Enter the Haggis at Back Booth downtown TONIGHT and " Sex Please, We're Sixty, " which sounds like a delightful farce about some sexy and would-be sexy senior citizens visiting a B&B. That's at the Shoestring Theatre in Lake Helen this weekend. Listen for me at 4:32 pm today or click to hear online on WMFE 90.7 FM ! See you all out there!
