What Are We Thinking? The Brain-Mapping Project

Victor Bokas,   Mermaid This week What's Hot in Central Florida is familiar things with new twists like the Lunar New Year Parade in the Mills-50 area of Orlando on Sunday, the brand-new Rocking Horse Theatre Factory presenting a stage version of a movie classic The Graduate  and The English Beat rocking the Plaza Live. Listen to 90.7 FM today at 4:32 PM or click the link to hear it early ! ALSO! BONUS!!! Not to be missed today is Maitland Art Center's Culture & Cocktails with featured artist Victor Bokas . Victor's paintings pop with lush color and happy evocations of Florida life, culture, outdoors and kitsch, so much so that even though they swirl with surrealism you can still feel the salt air and get psyched for a road trip and for fresh fish coming off the grill. Start the weekend right with this show - it's only $5 and will not only be a lovely evening but make you grateful that if you live here you never have to get out the snow plow. Cheers!
