Hydractinia enchinata, an amazing little regenerator which lives in colonies like the one being escorted around by this hermit crab. Cool stuff, plus I got to talk to Dr. James Sikes of University of San Francisco, an amazing scientist who spurred regeneration in a species of flatworm who had lost that ability by changing the activity of a single gene in the worm. The word 'awesome' gets used a lot but that truly is.
